UK-based Tiratsoo Technical (a division Great Southern Press which is headquartered in Australia) and Clarion Technical Conferences of Houston, are proud to announce that, with the support of Saudi Aramco, and in association with Global Webb Energy Consultants, they are now organizing the second international conference and exhibition on Best Practices in Pipeline Operations & Integrity Management, which will be held in Bahrain’s prestigious Gulf Convention Centre on 20-23 October, 2013.
This major multi-track conference will bring together experts from within and outside the region to discuss some of the latest technologies and concepts for maintaining and operating oil and gas pipelines in the most efficient, cost-effective, and professional manner, while taking account of the environmental and other concerns of the communities through which they pass.
“We gather to unleash the power of sharing best practices
in proactive pipeline integrity management and technologies”
Dear Pipelines Peers,
It’s my pleasure to invite you, on behalf of Saudi Aramco, to participate in the 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Best Practices in Pipeline Operations and Integrity Management that will take place from October 21-23, 2013, in Bahrain.
It’s a great opportunity for us Pipeliners to gather and share knowledge. There are many challenges we ought to overcome and it will help a great deal if we can solve them collaboratively.
In the first conference, multiple technical tracks featuring international speakers addressed the most critical pipeline-related issues. From pipeline steel to operations and from inline inspection to repair methodologies, a good number of papers made the conference of high technical value. The exhibition was full of booths from some of the most renowned pipelines companies. Saudi Aramco represented pipeline operators with a booth that reflected the conference message: best practices in pipeline operations and integrity management.
Now as we prepare to support the second version of the region’s largest pipeline gathering, the fond memories of the first conference are still resonating in our ears. In the hallways of the Gulf Hotel Convention Center earlier this year, on March 21, what we heard being said when exhibitors were taking down their booth stands, is “we can’t wait to see this happening again in Bahrain” or something like “we always wanted an event like this here in the region.” Even many people who visited the region for their first time showed an enormous passion “it’s my first visit to the region and we will definitely plan to come again.”
We look forward to seeing you again in Bahrain, hoping for more participation from pipeline operators. Let’s gather to unleash the power of sharing best practices in proactive pipelines integrity management and technologies
